Grace Center Casa Rescate is a Christian residential recovery ministry serving men in Laredo, Texas. Founded in 2021, the ministry provides shelter, meals, biblical discipleship, and compassionate support — completely free.

Our story
Obedience became a ministry.
Pastor Hiram experienced drug and alcohol addiction firsthand. Through Jesus Christ, he found freedom — and God called him to help other men walk that same road out of bondage.
Pastor Hiram and Pastor Genesis Garza de Téllez acted in obedience. In 2021, Grace Center Casa Rescate was founded in Laredo, Texas as a free residential recovery and shelter ministry for men.
Today, Grace Center continues to grow through the faithful support of churches, families, businesses, and community partners across South Texas.

Rooted in the mandate of Matthew 25 to care for the hungry, thirsty, and overlooked, our mission is to glorify God by leading men struggling with addiction into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. We accept this divine calling and authority to build a supportive community where biblical discipleship and compassionate care restore lives, renew hope, and unlock lasting freedom.

To see the old life pass away and the new come (2 Corinthians 5:17) for every man who enters Grace Center Casa Rescate. Through the transformative power of Jesus Christ, our vision is for men to stand firm in their freedom (Galatians 5:1), walk in their divine calling, restore their homes, and become kingdom-minded disciples who set a fire of revival in their families, churches, and communities.
